February invites us to slow down, notice small wonders, and share a little extra kindness — and what better way to do that than through plants?
This year at My Nordic Garden, we created a set of whimsical, plant-themed Valentine cards and activities for children, designed to spark curiosity, connection to nature, and joyful learning.
Each Valentine spotlights a special garden plant — from lemon balm and calendula to tomatoes, radishes, raspberries, and more.
Alongside sweet Valentine messages, kids will discover:
🌱 simple growing tips
🌼 fun plant facts
✨ gentle historical and folklore-inspired notes
💚 playful messages about friendship and kindness
Our hope is that these Valentines help children see plants not just as food or flowers, but as living companions that support pollinators, nourish our bodies, and bring beauty into everyday life.
You can download the Plant Valentine Cards for free and print as many copies as you like for your family or classroom.
Let’s plant seeds of love, curiosity, and care for the earth — one little Valentine at a time. 🌿
Sending love and peas,
Ines & Eric
