Therapeutic Horticulture Programming
Supporting wellbeing, connection, and recovery through nature-based experiences.
Service Description
Our Therapeutic Horticulture Programs are designed for healthcare, community, and educational organizations seeking meaningful, evidence-informed ways to support the wellbeing of the people they serve. Rooted in the principles of therapeutic horticulture, our programs use gardening and plant-based activities to foster physical, emotional, and social benefits. Whether supporting recovery, reducing stress, or creating opportunities for connection, each program is thoughtfully adapted to your setting and participants. Step 1: Discovery Call We begin with a complimentary Discovery Call to understand your organization, your goals, and the needs of your community. This initial conversation helps us explore: - Your setting and available space (indoors or outdoors) - The population you serve - Your objectives (e.g., wellbeing, rehabilitation, engagement) - Potential program formats and opportunities Step 2: Program Planning Session Following the Discovery Call, we move into a Program Planning Session - a more in-depth, collaborative working session. During this session, we: - Assess feasibility and align the program with your goals - Introduce a therapeutic horticulture framework tailored to your setting - Identify appropriate activities, structure, and seasonal flow - Outline implementation options and practical considerations You will receive a clear direction for your program, forming the foundation for a customized proposal. Step 3: Customized Program Proposal Based on the planning session, we develop a tailored program designed specifically for your organization. Programs may include: - Structured therapeutic horticulture sessions - Mobile garden setups or on-site garden integration - Seasonal or ongoing programming - Staff collaboration and guidance Our approach is flexible and responsive, ensuring the program is both impactful and practical within your environment. Begin the Conversation! We invite you to start with a Discovery Call to explore how therapeutic horticulture can support your community. Together, we can create meaningful, nature-based experiences that nurture wellbeing and connection.
