Join us at Vankleek Hill Vineyard for a cozy autumn workshop all about fire cider - a traditional herbal preparation made with apple cider vinegar, warming spices, aromatic herbs and pungent roots.
During this hands-on gathering, Ines from My Nordic Garden will introduce you to fire cider, its traditional uses and the properties of the ingredients that give this fiery little tonic its character. We'll explore how ingredients such as ginger, garlic, onion, herbs and warming spices come together to create a flavorful preparation traditionally enjoyed during the colder months.
